March 3, 2010 was another awesome WOW (Women of Winter) Session at Squaw Valley, led by Norcal Regional Alliance Members Julie Matises and Fran Tone.  And no, there's nothing wrong with the photograph - that's snow (lots of it) captured on film.   Themed "On the Edge of Squaw," this session turned into "on the edge of our comfort zone" as powder dumped all morning and visibility remained marginal.  Bump troughs were filled with bump tops barely hidden under the new-fallen snow.  The snow was so deep and fluffy, face shots were in order just by skiing through the troughs.   We had Phat Luvs, Lotta Luvs and even one Hardside out there - didn't really matter .... were those giggles we heard? ...  Yup - definitely.
