In the beginning of June I went to Folgefonna for filming with Field Productions. This glacier in the west of Norway is famous for its epic light, so it attracts a lot of professional skiers and film teams. The atmosphere is really nice!
The first days we filmed on a kicker specially built for us. This was my first heli shoot ever, which was really exiting. Here is one of my jumps.
When the others from Field Productions went home, I had to wait a few days for Chaoz Productions to arrive. In the mean time I visited my friend Andreas. You bet there is a lot of things to do in the near of Folgefonna, apart from skiing! We were longboarding, wakeboarding and cliff jumping.
The park where I filmed with Chaoz Productions was really good. It had three jumps in a line and a nice rail line at the top. Here is my 540 at the last jump in the park.
Two excited girls on the way to the unknown. Me and my friend Lilly wanted to try skiing across the water Would we surf or sink?
We surfed! Carving was hard, but I managed to make a 180. The poor film photographer Eivind Aurstad was splashed.
After Folgefonna I went to Juvass for more filming with Field. Juvass Skicenter is located on Galdhøpiggen, the highest mountain in Norway. This year, the park manager Even Sigstad has built a very good park. The weather was bad the first couple of days, but I stayed for a week and we got some good shots in sunshine on the last day. The second picture was taken with wide angle from underneath the jump. Isn’t it a nice shot?
However, everything in life is not skiing. Here is me, Nina and Karen relaxing after a fun day in the park.
