In Kelly's second webisode of 2012 she throws down at the Polish freesking open and comes out on top. With switch 720s and long list of dialed tricks this 9 year old girl is showing girls twice her age and her height how it's done.

Killington Dew Tour Pipe - Tai Barrymore and Brita Sigourney Podium
Tai and Brita continue to dominate the pipe comps and this time it's at the Killington stop of the winter Dew Tour. Tai started off strong with a first place finish in the semi finals and held that momentum into the finals and came out with a second. Brita added to her podium list with a third place.
Tai is skiing on the K2 Sights and Brita on the K2 women's MissConducts.

Brita Sigourney takes 1st - Grand Prix Pipe at Copper Mountain
Team member Brita Sigaourney started the season off with a bang today taken top honors at the first stop of the Grand Prix Super Pipe at Copper Mountain, CO on her K2 MissConducts

K2 SuperSweet women's all mountain performance skis featured on the Today Show
As you probably know by all the pink you have been seeing, October is breast cancer awareness month. Like many other companies K2 gives a percentage of sales on special products to help funding in research and recovery programs involved in the fight.

WOW #8 - Last Chance
Gorgeous sunny skies, warm spring temperatures, and an amazing snowpack greeted Squaw Valley's Women of Winter tribe yesterday as they gathered for the last (scheduled) WOW session of the season. The big, strong group ripped up the mountain and even made a quick hike up to Mainline Pocket for some fresh spring corn (photo above).
Later, we all met at Uncorked for some wine, prizes (thanks K2!!), and plans to do it all again next season. We are so inspired and driven by the incredible women we get to ski with....it makes our jobs so worthwhile!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this season such a huge success, Mother Nature included!

Demo Days - New Snow - New Challenge - New Confidence
Squaw Valleys' Women of Winter (WOW) led by Norcal Alliance members Julie Matises and Fran Tone was out there again - in low (actually none sometimes) vis. This is becoming a theme. And we had fresh new pacific moisture laden dense snow (6-20"). But with fat skis, many with rocker revolution, and tips from Julie and Fran, these women went from discomfort to heightened confidence. WOW is right!
As one women stated: "What a great girl tribe to be with ..." INDEED!

K2 Alliance at Kirkwood - Year 2
The K2 NorCal Alliance Team and K2 Skis joined Expedition Kirkwood's Women's 3-Day Camp on March 4-5, 2011. A large group of skiers and snowboarders joined their Kirkwood coaches for some fun in the sun while conquering new challenges on the heavily snow-covered mountain. So many women came carrying their older K2 skis, and had a chance to try out next year's models.
Each chair ride was a collage of K2 skis, old and new and all the women were lovin' the new boards!

awesome skiing!

Lapping KT22 on K2's
This morning began with some of that immature snow ... but, six hardy women showed up at 10 AM for another session of WOW (Women of Winter) at Squaw Valley. Led by Norcal Alliance members Fran Tone and Julie Matises on their K2 Lotta Luvs, we found creamy snow that had filled in a lot of bumps and left the mountain smooth. With guest Doug Stoup, adventurer and educator, helping to pick out lines, we had fresh tracks all over the KT terrain. Whether we're in groups of 6 or 16, the WOW sessions keep ending with everyone having big smiles on their faces. It's awesome to find so many women who love to ski - no matter what the weather brings!
